The Women of Nono Palmos
Manila-based and Miag-ao, Iloilo born couturier Non Palmos returned to his roots for a fashion show presenting his works made of local fabric called hablon. Among his models are (clockwise) Hazel Buaron, Valerie Maravilla, Antique Vice-Governor Rhodora Cadiao, Rowena Zulueta, Joji "Pane" Rosales, Norma Rosales, Dr. Ellen Abelita, Marjorie Florete, Dr. Gigi Johnson and Moravi Flores.
An Eye for Hablon
Prominent ladies of Miag-ao, Iloilo wear various Filipiniana gowns made of Hablon in support of their town's weaving industry.
